We provide both direct lending and placement services with other finance sources. Whether it be capital for growth, to build capacity, or create stability - we are here to help. We aid for-profit and non-profit, small and large businesses alike. We work with many government and private funding sources, and co-lend with banks and other organizations to raise funds for your projects.
We have loan funding available for uses that stimulate our economy, secure jobs, and help create community.

Even if we are not the right fit, we will still help you obtain what you need. We will locate and secure additional financing options for you. We are dedicated to helping our region grow.

We provide funding for technical assistance resources in the form of consulting services to selected business owners and non-profit directors in our area. Our consultants don’t just assign homework, they help!

Prepare one application here at SEDC, and we will handle the rest! We distribute the application to the appropriate banks and agencies with a finance structure that works for your business. By partnering with us, you leverage our relationships with banks and agencies that we have had for over 20 years!
Our Financing
SEDC’s primary source of funding is our own Revolving Loan Fund, built up over 27 years. We work generally with scores of banks, lenders and investors. We work in lending participations with dozens of banks and lenders.
We are a volume lender with the NH Business Finance Authority and participate in the programs of the NH Community Development Authority.
We are a Community Development Financial Institution certified by the US Treasury and have access to most of their finance programs.
We are the founder of Strafford County’s eligibility for US Economic Development Administration programs.
We operate a revolving loan fund for small rural businesses under the US Rural Development Administration, US Department of Agriculture.
We work co-operatively with other members of the NH Alliance of Regional Development Corporations, as well as municipal organizations.
